What does Root Capital Development do?
Root Capital Development builds websites and AI systems for small businesses in the Phoenix metro area. There are four standing packages — a website with basic automations, AI inbox cleanup, an AI lead follow-up system, and an AI Starter Package that combines the last two — plus custom builds on request. It is a two-person, veteran-owned shop, not an agency, and it builds its own tools rather than reselling someone else’s.
How does pricing work?
Every package is quoted in writing before any work begins, after a short discovery call. Website work is a one-time project. The AI packages are a one-time setup with an optional monthly for the tools and ongoing support. Nothing is per-seat, there is no usage meter, and the scope is agreed before you commit. Custom work is quoted to the job the same way.
Why aren’t prices listed on the site?
Because the honest answer depends on your setup — how many inboxes, how many lead sources, what already exists. Publishing a number would either be wrong for most people or padded to cover the worst case. Root Capital Development quotes after one short call, in writing, and the number does not move after that.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You need to know your business. Root Capital Development handles the technical side — architecture, setup, testing and deployment — and every package includes training and at least 30 days of support after launch. Your job is to explain how your operations work today.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
Small businesses of every kind — service companies, local trades, western and equine businesses, IT shops, consultancies and solo owners. The common thread is an owner doing too much administrative work themselves. If you are drowning in email, or losing leads because nobody got back to them fast enough, you are the right fit.
How is this different from hiring a virtual assistant or an agency?
A virtual assistant is a recurring salary and still has to sleep. An agency usually sells a retainer and a template. Root Capital Development builds a system you own, as a one-time setup with an optional monthly for support — and it runs at two in the morning on a Sunday without being asked.
Will my customers know they are talking to a robot?
The automatic first response is exactly that — automatic — and it is written in your voice and says what you want it to say. It buys you time; it does not pretend to be you. A human takes it from there. The point is that nobody waits three days for an answer, not that nobody ever talks to a person.
How long does a build take?
Timeline is confirmed in writing before work begins, alongside scope, so you know both before you commit. Inbox cleanup is the fastest to stand up; a full website with automations takes longest. Every package includes at least 30 days of support after it goes live, and the AI Starter Package includes 30 to 60 days.
Do you work with businesses outside Phoenix?
Yes. Root Capital Development is based in the Phoenix metro area and will drive out to you if you are local, which is usually the better way to start. The work itself is done remotely, so businesses outside Arizona are welcome too.
